Alyssa Munguia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Concordia University Texas, and previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society with a minor in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Alyssa practiced as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, where she developed strong clinical judgment and a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. She provides primary care across the lifespan with an emphasis on preventive health, chronic disease management, and women’s health. Alyssa values collaborative partnerships with her patients and strives to create an environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. She integrates evidence-based practice with personalized treatment planning to support long-term wellness and overall quality of life. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and time outdoors.
