Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Raymond moved to Austin six years ago. Prior to graduating with a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, Raymond had been a Registered nurse for more than 25 years with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. With tenures in orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and family medicine practices, he brings a wealth of experience to FMA and Raymond is also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Raymond enjoys getting to know his patients and forming relationships with each of them as he feels this creates a team approach to care as well as mutual respect. Trust and respect are the basis of building a lasting patient/ provider relationship.
In his free time, Raymond enjoys hiking, playing guitar, attending live music festivals and giving back to the community. He also enjoys time with his family to relax and travel.
